Enhancing UX Through Iterative Design
This project focused on redesigning the Voi electric scooter app using contemporary UI/UX design principles. Our team created an interactive prototype in Figma, following an iterative process that included brainstorming, sketching, moodboards, feature mapping, and wireframing. Key changes included adding an Explore Mode to better serve tourists and adjusting the visual identity and color scheme to enhance the overall user experience.

We began by identifying key issues with the existing app, setting the stage for a redesign aimed at improving the user experience. Using Figma, we created an interactive prototype that incorporated new features and addressed usability problems.
In order to redesign we created a new userflow based on both our own analysis of the app and our initial usertesting.

Our process was iterative, involving brainstorming, sketching, feature mapping, and wireframing, and was supported by user testing.
Feedback from five participants informed design adjustments, such as introducing an Explore Mode for tourists and refining the app’s visual identity. The final redesign is based on scientific UI/UX principles, balancing functionality with an enhanced user experience while sparking further discussions about potential improvements.

In order to present the redesign, it was presented using mock-ups along with the new color palette and features.
