UI/UX Student Assistant at Skifte-straffe programmet
During my time at Domstolsstyrelsen, I was heavily involved in the digitization of the Skiftestraffe program, where my focus was on improving user experiences in public sector systems. This experience really helped me dive deeper into user-centered design principles and develop essential skills for crafting effective digital solutions in a complex regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative Design Process: I worked closely with cross-functional teams—including specialist, designers, developers and project managers—to make sure we aligned user needs with what was technically possible. I facilitated in-house workshops that encouraged open conversations and brainstorming, keeping the user at the center of the project.
User Test Analysis: I analyzed user test feedback to pinpoint pain points and identify areas for improvement. This hands-on experience helped me stay tuned to what users truly need throughout the design process.
Design Systems and Accessibility: I focused a lot on design systems that prioritize accessibility, ensuring we met UX standards to create inclusive digital experiences. My commitment to accessibility was key in making the Skiftestraffe program usable for everyone, no matter their background.
Prototyping and Iteration in Figma: Using Figma as my main design tool, I created interactive prototypes that brought our design concepts to life. I also put together detailed summaries of previous work and conducted design critiques to spot new opportunities for improvement, driving the iterative design process.
This role not only sharpened my technical skills in UI/UX design but also gave me valuable insights into the unique challenges of public sector design. It reinforced my belief in the power of design to create positive change, especially in environments where user needs must be prioritized alongside regulatory requirements. I’m passionate about crafting impactful digital solutions that empower users and enhance their experiences.
